This Month's Prayer Requests and Praise Offerings

The first Sunday of each month Mission:Chad has a day of prayer. Please join with us in praise and prayer for what God has done and will continue to do for the people of Chad.

The Latest Prayer Requests & Praise Offerings

The Mission:Chad board thanks you for your faithfulness in praying for the orphans and widows of Chad, for the training of the pastors and  the church of Chad. We praise Him for what He has done; please continue pray for God's guidance and wisdom.

The Situation in Chad:

    • Praise God for peace in the country and in the region.
    • Pray that freedom from Boko Haram attacks will continue.
    • Pray that economic problems caused by a decline in the price of oil will improve and the nationwide teachers' strike caused by lack of salaries will end with a just settlement.

Village Altonodji:

    • Praise God for ten years of care for orphans and widows at Village Altonodji (VA).
    • Praise God as they are having school since the end of November and they approach the end of the school year in June. 
    • Pray for the student's and the staff's health as the hot weather brings diseases.
    • Pray for the four graduates who will take the baccalaureate test at the beginning of June. They desire to continue their studies; Erica: biology or medicine, Julien: biology or medicine, Melina: law, Julien: diplomacy.

FATES Bible College (Formerly ESTES):

    • Pray for Abel, the director of the school who has health problems. He is in a medical leave until the end of June.
    • Pray for Dr. Mourna Lawman Esaïe who does Abel's work in his absence.
    • Pray for the end of this academic year; July 1st is the graduation day.
    • Pray for the 9 graduates with Bachelor's degree, 6 with Master's degree, 6 women, 44 in the lay section.
    • Pray for the needs of the school: salaries to professors, three more motorcycles for the professors, as well as the daily studies with all the obstacles and insecurity in the country. We are the only support for these professors and the donations are down; pray that God will provide for them.
    • Pray for the planning of a trip to Chad in 2017 to be an encouragement to the staff of FATES and the students there.
